This 4-color CI flexo press was put together with plastic film and flexible packaging in mind. The central impression drum keeps registration consistent and color accuracy where it needs to be — something that makes a real difference when you're running food packaging, shopping bags, or label work where tolerances are tight.
At up to 250 meters per minute, it moves fast enough to keep production output competitive without the print quality falling apart across different film substrates.
Central Impression Drum Configuration: Everything runs around one central drum — and for thin-gauge films, that matters more than most people realize. It's the secret sauce that maintains registration and prevents print quality from going haywire during a run.
Servo Motor Unwind and Rewind Systems: Both the unwind and rewind sides run off precision servo motors, so tension doesn't just get set at the start and forgotten. It's actively managed throughout the entire roll, right down to the core.
High-Speed Operation: The press holds up reliably at speeds reaching 250 m/min. More importantly, print quality doesn't noticeably drop off as speeds climb — which is where a lot of machines start to struggle.
Full-Width Turner Bar: A turner bar is built right into the web path, making full web reversal straightforward for double-sided printing or whenever the job calls for a non-standard web configuration. It's a small addition that opens up a lot of production options.
In-Line Slitting Function: Slitting is handled on the press itself, so there's no separate pass needed after printing. That alone takes a chunk of handling time out of the workflow.
User-Friendly Control Panel: One centralized control system covers setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Operators don't need to hunt across different panels to make adjustments, which keeps downtime short when something needs attention.
Flexible Ink Compatibility: Water-based and solvent-based inks both run without issue, so the press adapts to different packaging applications without requiring modifications — and stays within reach of current environmental standards either way.
